The HPSOB is having a special concert to benefit community., and we are taking it to the limit with an unforgettable evening where 17th-century elegance meets Broadway brilliance.
“Baroque to Broadway” will bring together extraordinary artists from the Boston Early Music Festival, the Metropolitan Opera, and Broadway for a dynamic, genre-crossing cabaret. The program begins with the intimacy and emotional intensity of Baroque masterpieces, culminating in the storytelling of musical theatre — revealing surprising connections between these worlds. Virtuosity, wit, drama, and heart share the same stage. And it is all for good - proceeds will benefit PROJECT PAIR and Compassion in Action, supporting families facing detention and economic crisis. 100% of proceeds will go to critical needs.
Presented in collaboration with the Henry Purcell Society of Boston at First Parish in Lincoln, this concert will be so much more than a performance; it is a gathering of community around doing good for others. An evening that both celebrates artistic excellence while strengthening our local communities, and providing much needed relief.
