COMMUNITY CONCERTS
Music in Partnership
Each Community Concert is created in partnership with a nonprofit whose work we believe in. We choose our partners carefully, learning about what they do and finding ways for the concert to amplify their mission, introduce them to new supporters, and raise meaningful funds. The music becomes part of something larger—a gathering built around generosity, curiosity, and care for our neighbors.
Artists Who Care
Our Community Concerts bring together extraordinary musicians at every stage of their artistic lives—from established performers to young artists just beginning their artistic lives. What unites them is generosity. They care deeply about the world beyond the concert hall and believe that their artistry can be put in service of something larger. By donating their time and talent, they help turn a concert into an act of community—one in which making beautiful music and helping others are part of the same impulse.
Expect… the Unexpected!
Community Concerts also give us a chance to know our audiences differently: to gather, experiment, have fun, and support something we believe in together. The programming is deliberately adventurous. You might hear jazz alongside chromatic Renaissance polyphony, a Beatles song played by a Baroque band, or Purcell rubbing shoulders with Broadway. These concerts are joyful laboratories where musical worlds collide, audiences discover something new, and a night out can make a tangible difference.
What will we do next? You’ll have to follow us to find out.
