Laurence Senelick, Author & Dramaturg
Laurence Senelick is Fletcher Professor of Drama and Oratory at Tufts University and a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He serves on the advisory board of Poets' Theatre, for which he has directed Comrades & Lovers, a play about Walt Whitman; acted in the Memorial Hall reading of Dylan Thomas's Under Milkwood, and co-compiled and performed The Poet Behind the Mask at the Boston Athenaeum. For Boston Baroque, he composed and/or performed narration for Purcell's Tempest, King Arthur, The Fairy Queen and The Indian Queen, and for Castle Hill Concerts, for Purcell's Dioclesian.
