Lauren-Rose King is a versatile soprano whose career spans early music, opera, musical theatre, choral, and concert performance. She has been praised for her "fantastic comic timing, extraordinarily clear voice and memorable agility" (DC Metro Arts).
She has performed at distinguished venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Jordan Hall, and Boston's Symphony Hall, and has appeared as a featured soloist with ensembles including Boston Baroque, Chatham Baroque, Bard Festival Chorale, SongFest, LA Opera, Fall Island Vocal Arts Seminar, The Boston Cecilia, Marble Collegiate Chorus, Washington National Cathedral, and the Maryland Opera Studio.
A passionate advocate for contemporary art song, Lauren-Rose has collaborated with acclaimed composers Libby Larsen, Ricky Ian Gordon, John Musto, Ellen Mandel, and Jake Heggie, performing their works in recital.
Her honors include awards from the Classical Singer Competition, the New England Region NATS Competition, and New England Conservatory's Concerto Competition, as well as the New England Conservatory's Musical Theatre Scholarship and a full scholarship to the University of Maryland Opera Studio.

Lauren-Rose holds degrees in Vocal Performance and Opera Performance from the New England Conservatory and the University of Maryland Opera Studio.
